David Kellermann

Adjunct Professor in the School of Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering, UNSW, Australia

David Kellermann is a senior lecturer at the School of Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering of the University of South Wales (Sydney).

David specializes in continuum and computational mechanics of engineering materials, such as plastics reinforced with carbon fiber and biological tissues.

He is the organizer of courses and lecturer on major fundamental engineerings disciplines of the first and second years (Engineering Mechanics and Mechanics of Solids) teaching over 1,000 students annually.

David worked as a researcher at the University of Nottingham (UK) and as a researcher at the School of Civil & Environmental Engineering (UNSW) holding the 13th place globally. He worked over the application of his models for Boeing Research and Technology, Composites CRC of Australia and collective researchers across the globe.

In UNSW, David pioneered the development and integration of new technologies into his teaching practice and was awarded by the Vice-Chancellor for remarkable achievements in teaching.
