In 2006, Ilya graduated from the Faculty of Economics at the St. Petersburg State University majoring in economics of enterprise and in 2009 completed his postgraduate studies.
Graduate of the EMBA program at Haas School of Business — UC Berkeley.
PhD in Economics.
Has over 10 years’ managerial experience with technology and investment companies.
Since 2019 – director for market development for the National Technology Initiative (NTI) JSC Russian Venture Company, member of the NTI project committee.
Since August 2020 – director for educational business of the Action Group Action University, a leader in professional online education in the corporate sector.
Since September 2022 – CEO at Yandex Practicum in Russia.
In various years, Ilya contributed to the work of non-profit organizations and initiatives: member of the executive council of the Russian Public Relations Association, top expert for the expert committee of the Internet Development Institute, chairman of judges of the Tech in Media competition, member of the council of trustees of Science Slam Russia, member of the working group of the Kruzhok Movement NTI and member of the expert council of TechUspekh ranking.
Laureate of the following international professional awards: The Sabre Awards (2014, 2015), IPRA Golden World Awards (2014) and IABC Gold Quill (2015).
