Taras Pustovoy

In 2017, he founded the Online Education Development Fund , whose mission is to help universities and businesses implement transition into a new digital reality. From 2018 to 2021, he headed the Directorate for the design and development of the 2035 NTI University platform, where he was responsible for the development of digital platforms to support individual human growth. In 2015, he was one of the initiators of the creation of the National Open Education Platform, where until 2016 he was a member of the board and chairman of the technical committee, responsible for the development of the educational platform.

Taras participates in the development and implementation of the priority national project "Modern digital educational environment"‎. From 2013 to 2017, he headed the Center for Innovative Educational Technologies at MIPT, launching the first online courses among Russian universities at the international open education platforms Coursera and iTunes University. For the first time in Russia, he launched the format of online master's courses at MIPT, including creating training programs for "professions of the future" in deep cooperation with industrial partners.

From 2008 to 2012, he led the development of the Electronic Physics and Technology School. In 2008, he launched the MIPT Lecture Hall project — the largest university educational repository of open electronic educational materials.

Graduated from the Faculty of Management and Applied Mathematics of MIPT in 2010. He is a recognized expert in online education in Russia and abroad, actively promotes the development and implementation of online learning formats within the framework of classical higher education. Develops the school of Educational Engineering in Russia. Provides mentoring support to a number of projects in the field of online education.
