Kamran Mir

Assistant Director IT, Allama Iqbal Open University, Pakistan

Kamran is an EdTech Researcher and Trainer. He is currently working as Assistant Director IT at Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU), Pakistan which is one of the mega open universities of the world. He is also PhD research scholar at National University of Science of Technology (NUST), Pakistan which is ranked #1 in Pakistan and is among top 100 Asian universities according to QS world university ranking 2023. His area of research revolves around GIS and Distance Education.

Kamran is very dynamic and active young researcher. He is passionate about EdTech, Research and teaching. He has received several international awards and research fellowships including one Gold Medal and two Silver Medals from Asian Association of Open Universities (AAOU) and has more than 20 research publications in different journals and conferences.
