Svetlana Avdeeva heads the Laboratory for New Construct Measurement and Test Design at the HSE Institute of Education, Moscow.
The laboratory is currently implementing a number of projects to develop the 21st century skills measurement tools: standardized 4 “C” (creativity, critical thinking, communication and cooperation) competences, information and communication competence (www.ictlit.com), problem solving, digital literacy (https://dl.hse.ru/demos), etc.
In 2008–2017, she led major federal projects of education system information support, under which the Unified Collection of Digital Educational Resources (http://school-collection.edu.ru), over 450 interschool resource centers and Open Class network educational communities (www.openclass.ru) were set up, and over 200,000 school teachers and administrators were trained to apply digital technologies in their educational activity.
Author of over 40 papers in information support of education.
