- EdCrunch Stage
Buildings are school’s most expensive technology but few school facilities support student-oriented learning. A common school design includes many separate rooms between which students migrate during break time, so called “cells and bells”. This inhibits collaboration and problem-solving. We can rethink our school designs with agile spaces that support social and emotional learning, collaborative and project-based learning, while still supporting traditional academic disciplines. Randy Fielding will take participants on an Alignment Journey, where the core elements of an effective educational ecosystem, including the vision, learning program and physical environment all work together to form a beautiful whole. Education leaders will get a toolkit for building a shared design language with teachers, students and community partners, fulfilling essential needs of all learners.
