Rakhim Oshakbayev has a job experience in financial and lease company JSC KazAgroFinance (2001–2002) and in project management for the International Finance Corporation of the World Bank (IFC) (2003–2004).
He worked as CEO at Limited Liability Partnership Analytical Center for Economic Policy of the Agroindustrial Complex (2009–2011), Managing Director at JSC Sovereign Wealth Fund Samruk-Kazyna (2011–2012), Deputy Chairman of the Management Board at the Atameken National Chamber of Entrepreneurs of Kazakhstan (2013–2015) and Vice-Minister for Investment and Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan (2015–03.2016).
Membership:
• member of the National Council of Public Trust under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
• member of a special monitoring group at the Anti-Corruption Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
• member of the Center for Analysis and Monitoring of Social and Economic Reforms under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan; and
• member of the Public Council under the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
