Miras Daulenov

On June 1, 2021, Miras Daulenov entered upon his duties as the President of the Narxoz University. Miras Daulenov has Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Law and is a Doctor of Law.

He was born in Ust-Kamenogorsk city in 1983. Graduated from the S. Amanzholov East Kazakhstan State University. After that, he went on further study at the doctoral program of the University of Wroclaw (Poland), where, in 2012, he was awarded the degree of Doctor of Law. Over the years, he held various positions in Kazakhstani law offices, the University of Wroclaw (Poland), and the M. Narikbayev KAZGUU University. He held positions of Lecturer, Head of the Department of International Law, Prorector for Research, Director of the S. Zimanov Academy of Legal and Economic Studies, Vice Chairman of the Board, and Provost.

During the period from 2019 to 2021, Miras Mukhtarovich held the title of Vice Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Since 2017, he has held membership in the Asian Society of International Law and the Executive Council of the Society.
He is also a member of the Advisory Boards to the Supreme Court, the Constitutional Council, and the Economic Court of the CIS. He was an expert witness on various matters of law for the International Center for the Settlement of Investment Disputes.

He has published extensively on public international law, EU law, and AIFC law.
