Alexander Gulin

Director, Private School "Snegiri"

In 2020, Alexander Gulin became the head of the "Snegiri" private school, where he gathered a team of young, creative and professional teachers from Russia, Germany and England. "Snegiri" teachers implement the format of a "new-generation" school — a school that becomes a point of attraction for children, where there is a place for games, sports, friendship, research and creative projects. A teacher at "Snegiri" is a mentor, a tutor who plays the role of a navigator in the educational process. The modern school space, designed by Portuguese architects, is not only comfortable for learning but also motivates students to be active and creative.

Alexander Gulin began his career in 2008 as a developer of interactive scripts for multimedia discs for history and social studies textbooks at the "Prosveshchenie" publishing house. In 2016, he was invited to the Museum of Moscow Education, where he developed and implemented an exposition on modern pedagogical technologies, and conducted courses for heads of school museums.

Prior to joining the private school "Snegiri", Alexander headed State School №149 named after U.N. Zykov, a Hero of the Soviet Union. From 2016 to 2019, he was deputy director of the Gymnasium (school) №1576, where he actively introduced innovative projects and PAK-education "Moscow Electronic School", implemented blended learning approaches, organised a system for distance learning in basic subjects based on LMS Moodle, managed the Gymnasium building (HSE Lyceum). The high school has successfully launched personalised learning curricula.

In addition, Alexander takes an active part in the development of new educational projects. Contests "i-Teacher" and "TOP-school" were launched with the participation of Alexander.
