Jorge Rodriguez Nieto

Expert in Education (learning experience design) Service Design (public and commercial services) and Design Thinking and Innovation (methodologies, processes and projects)

Mr. Rodriguez is currently an international consultant for companies and governments and the founder, partner, and active member of DesignThinkers Group Spain, ABAC, and AlgoBueno Studio SL. He has worked for UNDP at the Bogotá City Council and HBO-Ole Time Warner as a producer. Founder of the Artehoy He has been director of MIDI Master Research Design and Innovation at Elisava, Universitat Pompeu Fabra, from 2008–2022, and also participated as faculty in programmes for Barcelona Activa. Among the other institutions are Rotterdam Business School, the University of Maryland, and the University of Lisbon.

Researcher and Professor at the UJTL and the National University of Colombia, won the Prometheus Award in 2002. He has been an advisor and consultant for public sector institutions since 2009, including the Family Welfare Institute of Colombia (ICBF), the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (UNDPD), USAID, GIZ, and Sony Pictures Entertainment, and has developed projects for companies like CapGemini Seat, WebMD, the Human Rights Council of Colombia, the Ministry of Culture, Barcelona City Council, Momentum McCann, CCOO, and the Museum of Modern Art in Bogotá, among others.

Jorge Rodriguez Nieto is a Publicist specialising in Corporate Communications from the UJTL, has a BA in Fine Arts in New Media and Business Administration from Los Andes University in Bogotá, and a Master in Cultural Management specialising in Cultural Industries from the University of Barcelona.
