In creating curriculum, it is important to give our students knowledge and skills to enter the workforce as productive and creative individuals. As educators we have the responsibility of equipping students with the ability to apply real world technologies in a multitude of situations. Productive and creative technologies used can be employed in the classroom to demonstrate students how to communicate and solve problems beyond their academic experience. By weaving the knowledge of both productive and creative technologies into the fabric of our curriculum we can better prepare our students for being 21st century citizens. During the workshop we will identify productive and creative technologies to integrate across the curriculum, describe strategies to apply these technologies in the classroom and explain authentic assessment practices for all disciplines.
