The development of online education has led not only to the transformation of traditional universities, but also to the rapid growth of the so-called open universities - for extramural education. Many of them are real giants with hundreds of thousands of students. What is their place in the system of higher education, how do they implement research and social mission of universities, and how they are working on the reduction of student dropout. At the session together with the experts from the largest open universities, traditional universities with a massive e-learning block and tech companies we will figure out the answers to all of these challenges.
